“Blek le Rat’s stencils distill the essence of the human struggle into poetically concise images.”
From the streets of Paris to the gallery walls of San Fran, the godfather of stencil graffiti Blek le Rat is the man of the night come November 10th. From 6:30 – 8 pm, SF MOMA hosts the the launch of the 30 Year Anniversary Retrospective, starting with an artist signing party sure to be the hot spot in town. Best part about this insanely rad event? TOTALLY FREE. True, the book is 70 bones, but that’s chump change compared to the opportunity to meet the man who burned the world down with his graffiti. Bay area, we strongly advise you to attend the event, shake le Rat’s hand, and pay the man his due. Respek.
