  • VERSE Reunion - Bridge 9 Records Confirms 2012 Tour

Rhode Island is known for RISD’s awesome art, being teeny-tiny, and producing writer HP Lovecraft. However, in the last few years there’s been a noticeable void in the Providence music scene that was once filled by hardcore/punk band VERSE. After breaking up in 2009, they recently announced their re-forming and upcoming 2012 tour + album, much to the glee of B9’ers everywhere.

Not only is the band recording a much-anticipated new album (to follow the critically acclaimed Aggression on Bridge 9 Records), but they already also have U.S. West Coast and European dates planned, plus an appearance at the Belgian music festival Groezrock in April. They kick things off in their hometown on February 11th with Defeater and Soul Control, and B9 has already announced plans to re-press Aggression on vinyl.

Better dig out your camo shorts and brush up on your breakdown moves – VERSE is back!
