Paul D'Elia "Strange Obsessions"

Paul D'Elia at Cella Gallery, North Hollywood

We’d love to say that artist Paul D’Elia is best known for his work with us at Wheatpaste Art Collective. The truth is that he’s been around much longer than that! You may recognize his incredibly awesome work as the head designer for men’s shirts at Quiksilver, or his gig posters at Screenin’ 4 A Change, or his other blog at Art 4 Punks. Paul’s not finished with those only, no no. He’s also recently launched NXA Clothing, which had its soft launch only days ago during his 3rd solo show at Cella Gallery.

“Strange Obsessions” took place this weekend at Cella Gallery in North Hollywood, and it was, to be blunt, freaking radical. Oversized hand-screened gig posters were on display, plus new swag from NXA and a limited edition print for the first 50 visitors to the opening. You can also check out some more great pictures from Paul D’Elia’s opening here. “Strange Obsessions” runs through October 13, so don’t miss this totally epic show if you’re in the Los Angeles area.

If you can’t make it to Cella for “Strange Obsessions” by Paul D’Elia, you may as well check out his collection of stickable posters and canvas wall art for Wheatpaste Art Collective. They aren’t going anywhere!
