Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival 2013

Who's ready for Outside Lands?

We are, we are! Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival is one of the most epic summer fests in the U.S., and the fact that it takes place in one of the most beautiful cities in the country is just the icing on the cake.

Headliners for this year's Outside Lands include the amazing Paul McCartney (still rockin' out at 71!), Vampire Weekend, WILLIE NELSON, Red Hot Chili Peppers... well, just look below for the full lineup.

Outside Lands Music Festival | Wheatpaste Art Collective

One of the raddest things about Outside Lands is that it's so much more than just music. San Francisco is a bubbling hub of creative forces that just can't help spilling into the festival arena. Juxtapoz Magazine is hosting the Outsider Art exhibition, which includes live painting by our faves Dabs/Myla, Skinner, Sam Flores, as well as Mike Shine's regular appearance as Dr. Flotsam's Hell Brew Review, musical theater, and more!

This is on top of the amazing wine area, beer center, comedy at The Barbary, and more! It sounds cliche, but we're being legit. There really IS something for everyone at Outside Lands.

Basically what we're telling you is that the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival is heaven on earth. From art to music to food, we love everything about it. This is especially amazing considering how young Outside Lands is - launched in just 2008, it's grown from 60 bands and a handful of art installations to a eco-minded 3-day gathering of music and art lovers from around the country, featuring over 100 performers from shoegaze to country to comedy.

Summer may be winding down but the season simply won't be complete until Outside Lands' gates are finally closed and everyone quietly, meekly heads home to count down until 2014.
